Akila LES Flagship

Akila LES flagship - curved LED wall, brake formed stainless floating shelves, slatted plywood bench

We partnered with Akila to build and install the interior finishes and built in retail fixtures for their LES flagship. We worked closely with their design team to develop the curved LED wall/ceiling, along with other furniture and built ins within the space.

The biggest piece is the built in curved LED wall/ceiling, which lights the product and main floor in the space. We designed it to be built in modular sections with removable acrylic lenses that could be removed to service the LEDs inside. We put holes in the ribs of each section to allow for air flow as well as to help with registration for straightforward assembly on site.

We also built a curved record shelf from perforated steel, the curves of the shelves and the squares of the record sleeves mirror the curves and squares of the LED wall nicely.

We built a slatted plywood bench at the center of the space, and a back wall with a matching finish. We built a sliding barn door into the back wall with matching slats to blend into the surrounding wall. The inventory shelving is brake formed stainless steel sheetmetal that we integrated into the LED wall.
